Paint Assistant

At Freedom Metal Finishing, we are seeking a Paint Assistant to play a key role in our production team. You will be responsible for organizing and preparing parts for various finishing process, ensuring proper workflow and adherence to quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and teamwork to support timely production and maintain our company's high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Duties

- Review work orders and prioritize parts staging based on production schedules.

- Verify part quantities, dimensions, specifications against job orders.

- Prepare and organize parts to ensure compatibility with production lines.

- Properly label and document parts to maintain traceability through the finishing process.

- Collaborate with quality assurance and production teams to address any issues.

- Monitor and maintain staging area inventory, reporting shortages, or discrepancies.

- Safely handle and store parts to prevent damage or contamination.

- Communicate effectively with production, painting, and shipping teams.

- Assist with load preparation and transportation of parts as needed.
