Owner/Royalty Relations Analyst

Petro-Hunt, L.L.C. is currently seeking a motivated and detailed-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our Land Department. This role plays a key part in supporting daily operations by performing a wide range of administrative and clerical tasks to ensure efficiency and accuracy across the department.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up new owners

- Updating owner records with address changes, transfer documentation, W9s, etc.

- Processing returned mail and completing owner research (Lexis Nexis)

- Following up with owners for address changes, or

- Sending out heirship letters to relatives to assist in getting ownership transferred.

- Managing owner inquiries and assisting owners with acquiring the necessary forms for account updates and answering questions

- Assisting Administrators with transfers/initiating transfer/scanning documentation

- Assist Land and Accounting with outstanding/stale date check research and following up with owners appropriately

- Processing returned ACH's for wither updates or suspense

- Managing the Royalty relations email and voicemail

- Fielding all calls and sending Administrators necessary calls

- Fielding emails and forwarding to appropriate administrators

- Processing physical documents for scanning and saving all digital and scanned images in owner files and attaching in Quorum

- Assisting accounting with statement requests (from owners needing a statement covering a time frame for income verification)

Job Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience preferred but not required.

- Strong computer skills in Excel, Word and other oil and gas websites and software.

- Experience in Quorum software preferred but not required.

- Excellent verbal and communication skills as well as strong organizational skills.

- An understanding of oil and gas leases, division orders and conveyance documents preferred but not required.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform duties at a fast pace with a high level of accuracy.

- Have strong social skills and the ability to work well with others.

- An action-oriented personality with a strong sense of initiative, motivation and drive.
