Outside Sales Representative:
We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Outside Sales Representative to promote our products and capabilities in the Western Wisconsin Territory. This position reports directly to the Wausau Division’s General Manager. Responsibilities include:
•Well versed in the full range of O’Brien Steel’s vast inventory and processing capabilities
•Proactively initiate, develop, and maintain relationships with key decision makers including purchasing agents, managers, and owners of new and existing accounts
•Routinely set up face-to-face meetings and log CRM entries
•Negotiate pricing, due dates, and other commitments
•Oversee all aspects of the sales process from quoting, order entry, order processing, and shipping
•Work closely with our Inside Sales Representative team
•Follow up on previously quoted business
•Communicate with internal departments including estimating, processing, accounts receivables, and shipping to provide customers with detailed responses, superior quality, and successful delivery
•Understand market conditions, the supply chain, demand levels, and competitor activities on both a large (nationwide/companywide) and small (divisional/territorial) scale
•Prepare sales reports for management and customers
Position requirements/Desired skills:
•Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing/Business or a related field or equivalent work experience
•Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player
•Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
•Strong conversation, negotiation, and written communication skills
•Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Total Targeted Compensation includes Sales Incentive earnings.
