Position: Outside Sales
Status: Full-time, Exempt
Outside Sales Representative is responsible for developing relationships with customers and growing accounts in their territory through the promotion and selling of organizations product lines to industrial, commercial and government entities. This position requires exercising independent judgement to perform the responsibilities described herein and does require routine travel. Responsibilities:
•Routine sales travel to visit new and existing customers and attend trade shows
•Identify and qualify new business opportunities using available sources
•Provide customer support by responding to customer inquiries and requests
•Partner with current customers to ascertain current needs and generate additional sales
•Work closely with marketing to recognize & promote Sales opportunities
•Work with operations providing all relevant information to ensure timely delivery of orders
•Ensure that databases and spreadsheets are current and updated with accurate customer and order information
•Routinely pull and reference system reports for additional sales opportunities
•Execute timely preparation of all expense reports and assigned projects
•Keep management and sales team informed of all relevant activity
•Utilize PSS’s CRM system daily
Requirements:
•Knowledge of the oil and gas, industrial, and midstream markets

•Strong presentation, organizational, and time management skills
•Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding corporate goals as well as strong negotiation and closing techniques
