Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Outside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth through effective territory management and relationship building. You will engage with potential clients, conduct product demonstrations, and manage accounts to ensure customer satisfaction while meeting sales targets. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong negotiation skills.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives in assigned territories, in coordination with Management and Regional Support.
- Identify and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals. Inbound leads will also be provided.
- Conduct inspections to identify home service needs, offer solutions, and discuss features and benefits to potential clients.
- Manage existing accounts while seeking opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services.
- Utilize CRM software, such as Salesforce, to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data.
- Collaborate with marketing teams and management to align strategies and enhance lead generation efforts.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to effectively position products.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and territory analysis for management review.
- Proven experience in outside sales, with a focus on creative sales preferred.
- Strong background in account management and business development.
- Familiarity with Pest Control, Lawn & Ornamental or Termite sales is a plus.
- Proficient in using CRM software for tracking leads and managing customer relationships.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and customer needs.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a team environment.
- Previous experience in retail sales or inside sales is beneficial but not mandatory.
