Overview
C.H. Bradshaw Company is a fuel truck & trailer builder and equipment distributor since 1953 and family owned since 1989. The outside sales position focuses on maintaining relationships with current customers by following a set route plan while also developing new customers. Outside sales takes calls from customers regarding parts sales as well as new tank truck, trailer, and box truck sales.
This job traditionally has required the salesperson to be in office one day a week and the rest of the week is spent on the road visiting customers and delivering sold items. Outside sales reps have traditionally supplied their own vehicles.
Responsibilities
•Identify and pursue new sales leads through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
•Manage existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
•Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs.
•Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
•Collaborate with the sales management team to develop effective sales strategies.
•Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to the client's needs.
Skills
•Proven experience in account management and lead generation.
•Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
•Knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape in the industry.
•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on persuasive selling.
•Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
•Familiarity Microsoft Office and CRM software and sales management tools is a plus.
