JOB TITLE: Outside Sales Representative - Commercial
SALARY: $60,000 Base Salary with opportunity to make $150,000+

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Outside Sales Representative prospects for new commercial business in the Houston area. The types of commercial accounts will primarily include forklift, commercial bulk and resale. With direction, the Outside Sales Representative will set monthly sales goals and targets and be responsible for meeting those goals. The primary area of focus will be prospecting for new commercial accounts in Houston and the surrounding areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Outside Sales Representative shall be able to perform the following:
- Prospect companies using a variety of methods including: cold calling, generating references, and networking
- Build relationships and rapport with prospects
- Determine the customer’s service needs
- Create and present sales proposals
- Be a positive image for Green’s Blue Flame Gas and uphold our reputation as an outstanding service company
- Develop and execute monthly sales goals
- Review key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and obtain references
- Understand the customer’s propane needs and how Green’s Blue Flame meets those needs
QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates for the position shall meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in outside sales preferably in industrial business-to-business service
- Ability to work independently/set monthly sales goals
- Have demonstrable experience in outside sales/increasing revenue
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Must be a self-starter and capable of working independently in the field
