Minimum Requirements:

- Field operations experience, working in a tank farm or terminal, refinery or oil and gas facility

- A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

- A valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record

Responsibilities:

- Ensure the safety of people, equipment, and the environment and that procedures are followed

- Perform plant operation duties for smooth and efficient operations and ensure shift handovers are well communicated

- Prepare and complete daily area logs and communicate significant changes and findings in a timely manner

- Conduct operator rounds, equipment checks, issuing permits, conduct sampling involving climbing and outside for extended periods of time

- Ensure timely action and process adjustments during plant upsets that are consistent with operational objectives and target outputs

- Prepare equipment and systems for maintenance and commissioning

- Maintain housekeeping at a high level to ensure a safe work environment

Location and other Key Details:

- You will work out of our East Tank Farm site in Fort McMurray, Alberta

- The shift schedule is a 6 days on/ 6 days off rotation (6 days on, 6 days off, 6 nights on, 6 nights off; 12-hour shifts)

- This position is safety sensitive.
