Operations - Team Member - Small Equipment Operator, Stainless

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Small Equipment Operator – Non-Ferrous to join our team. This role is responsible for managing inventory, processing materials (torching, shearing), loading containers, and working closely with a small team to ensure efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of non-ferrous materials, their various grades, and best practices for handling and processing them. There is 1 vacancy for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage inventory of non-ferrous materials.

- Process materials using torching, shearing, and other techniques.

- Load containers efficiently and safely.

- Work closely with team members to maintain workflow and productivity.

- Ensure proper sorting and grading of all non-ferrous materials.

- Operate equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, and loaders.

- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Wage:

Monday to Friday – 6:45AM to 4:15PM with occasional Saturdays from 6:45AM to 11:45AM

- Extensive knowledge of non-ferrous materials and their different grades.

- Experience with material processing (torching, shearing, etc.).

- Strong leadership and teamwork skills.

- Ability to manage inventory effectively.

- Forklift experience (required).

- Skid steer and loader experience (preferred).

- Crane experience (bonus).

- Skills and Competencies:

- Strong attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and people skills.

- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
