Salary: $80,000 - $85,000

The Opportunity:

The Operations Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Nanaimo, BC branch. This leadership role requires a committed individual who will take ownership of the branch’s operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and customer-focused service delivery. The Operations Supervisor will manage a team of fuel drivers and dispatchers, ensuring smooth fuel deliveries, inventory control, and regulatory compliance, while maintaining strong customer relationships and promoting a culture of safety.

Responsibilities:

•

Supervise all commercial fuel deliveries and ensure the delivery process runs smoothly.

•

Lead and manage a team of fuel drivers and dispatchers, including hiring, training, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.

•

Facilitate regular safety inspections and safety meetings.

•

Ensures the facility and its employees are complying with all safety procedures set by the company.

•

Schedule repairs and maintenance for fleet of fuel trucks and tankers.

•

Maintain inventory of hoses, fittings, safety gear and other PPE, and place orders as necessary.

•

Complete administrative reporting and month end closing procedures.

•

Provide exceptional customer service through direct communication and site visits.

•

All other duties as required.

Requirements:

•

Previous industry experience in fuel delivery, logistics, or operations management is highly desirable.

•

Experience working with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

•

Experience using JDE software is an asset.

•

Experience using PowerBI is an asset.

•

Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with staff and customers.

•

Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.

•

Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.

•

Must have a valid driver’s license and work after hours when required.
