Job Description:
The Operations Manager will serve as the field mentor for the Central Region. The main objectives are to train and assist FSRs, ensure they have the skills and tools needed to perform their tasks, and proactively making adjustments or repairs ensuring the customer stays in water and preventing equipment failures. Responsibilities include scheduling the FSR’s to customer sites and utilizing their skillsets effectively depending on the work that needs to be completed, driving projects to completion, and staying in front of the customer to ensure continuity between GCS and the companies we support. The operations supervisor’s performance should support the GCS mission as a service company, ensuring customer satisfaction as well as contract compliance, and providing the best, most efficient, service under site contracts. Administrative duties such as site audits, monthly budgets and weekly site reporting will also be part of the expectations.
Job Duties:
Site Management:
•Knowing the customer equipment
•Knowing customer contracts
•Ensuring sites inventory is stocked
•Completing tasks with customer schedule in mind
•Ensuring all sites are clean and orderly
•Maintaining site data and submitting findings reports.
•Will respond to customer call outs and emergencies
•Building customer relationships
•Able to generate and follow through on aftermarket projects
Team Management:
•Field training of each FSR in the region
•Scheduling class training for your the team
•Maintaining service schedules and On Call schedules
•Must be able to communicate effectively
•Possesses leadership qualities
•Ensuring FSR’s completes their required reporting
•Ensure Team development and winning attitude
Administrative:
•Able to write and submit reports in a timely manner
•Comfortable with budget tracking
•Can use Microsoft One Drive and associated software.
•Can write proposals and quotes
•Follows through with important emails
Shop Duties:
•Keep inventory up to date
•Ship and receive shipments
•Keep GCS equipment service up to date
•Organize and keep files for personnel, customers and vendors
GCS Water will provide in-the-field training supplemented with class training.
Schedule:
Typically, Monday through Friday with occasional weekend and possible holiday coverage.
Requirements:
•Proficient with Microsoft tools including One Drive
•Great Communication Skills
•Teamwork and accountability
•Candidate must be able to stand or walk for long periods
•Lift and carry heavy (50lbs) objects utilizing arms, hands, feet, and legs
•Climb ladders, scaffolds, and work from heights
•Carry tools and equipment
•Pass a background check and safety training (Basic Plus & Site-Specific Safety).
•Candidate must have a valid driver’s license, US citizenship and PPE (steel toe work boots).
•Willingness to travel (within continental United States).
