We are a dynamic and growing scrap metal facility committed to sustainability and operational excellence. Our team thrives on efficiency, safety, and strong leadership. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Operations Manager to lead and optimize our daily operations.

Position Summary:

The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day functions of the facility, including logistics, personnel management, inventory control, and compliance. This individual must be fluent in both English and Spanish and possess a solid understanding of accounting principles to effectively manage budgets and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Supervise and coordinate plant operations, including material handling and equipment use.

•

Lead and manage facility staff to ensure a safe, productive, and positive work environment.

•

Monitor and report financial performance; interpret accounting data to guide operational decisions.

•

Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

•

Communicate effectively across departments and with vendors/customers in both English and Spanish.

•

Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and costs.

•

Collaborate with upper management to implement strategic plans and improvements.

Must-Have Qualifications:

•

Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).

•

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

•

3+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in a manufacturing or recycling environment.

•

Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

•

Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field (Required)

•

Proficient with MS Office and industry-specific software.

Preferred Qualifications:

•

Experience in the scrap metal or recycling industry.

•

Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
