We have an exciting opportunity open for an Operations Coordinator in Fort Smith, AR.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Support the Construction, Service and Contract Service Supervisors with various administrative duties and possess a solid track record of executing often complex operations initiatives while remaining mindful of budgetary constraints and logistical challenges.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Inspects work completed by Company crews or contractors' crews to confirm that the work was done in accordance with operating standards and federal/state regulations. Assures that gas carrying facilities (such as main, services, meter stations, etc.) meet the company’s standards for quality and specifications.
•Verifies compliance of Operational Maintenance Plans.
•Coordinates with Contract Services Supervisor, Customer Development and contractor crews to assist with scheduling, documentation and invoicing pertaining to new services.
•Manage 1060/1070 reports to complete work orders in accordance with Plant Accounting timelines.
Compiles data, keeps current documentation and prepares periodic surveys and reports, cost estimates and updates plant facilities records.
•Create work orders for the Construction team (“As Built” and emergency repairs).
•Assist Service Department with 7100 reports for regulatory compliance.
•Assist Service Department with gathering data and reports required for ARPSC and OCC inspections and audits.
•Develop and maintain reports for all the Operations groups including:
+ Near-miss submissions
+ Public awareness metrics
+ Procedure audits
•Create Purchase Requests (PRs) for tool and equipment purchases as needed and assist in tracking spend to budget.
•Demonstrates commitment to compliance with applicable laws and regulations, the Company’s Ethics and Compliance Code, and other Company policies and procedures, and take all required training courses.
•Demonstrates respect for all individuals and adhere to the Company’s values and business practices.
Performs other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
•Bachelor’s degree is preferred, in Business, Construction Management, or Project Management.
•One (1) year operations experience or related background.
•Possess knowledge and application of construction coordination, administration support, project cost, document controls, applications, and practices.
•Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, while remaining aware of completion dates, with an understanding of time management.
•Functional knowledge of construction contracts, documentation procedures, and administration support activities to ensure performance to project requirements.
•Basic computer skills including experience with MS office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
•Working knowledge of project related systems, such as accounting/cost software, scheduling programs and documentation tracking systems.
•Strong organizational skills.
•Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
•Oracle and Cayenta experience required.
•Work Order Field App a plus.
•Ensure adherence to company policies, core values and procedures, in addition to all applicable laws and regulations.
Valid driver’s license.
