Job Description
The Operations Coordinator provides essential support to operations with a primary focus on processing and coordinating assets and purchasing activities for the region. This role serves as a central point for optimizing asset utilization and managing expendable supplies across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and track underutilized assets throughout the region to maximize efficiency
- Monitor expendable supply stock levels across all regional locations
- Redistribute excess expendable stocks between locations to minimize waste and optimize inventory
- Establish and manage central expendable stock points using a hub & spoke distribution model
- Place replenishment orders for central stock points while eliminating purchases at outlying locations
- Serve as the regional focal point for equipment searches to avoid unnecessary purchases or rentals
- Coordinate capital equipment purchases with Houston purchasing and materials management teams
- Work with key product purchase agreements to maximize the company's purchasing volume and leverage
- Support domestic operations by arranging movement of rental, fishing, and service equipment
- Optimize equipment utilization and revenue generation through effective coordination
- Maintain highest standards of corporate governance and ethical conduct
- Comply with Company's Security, Compliance & HSE policies and Management System
- Prioritize Quality, Health & Safety, Security and Environmental protection as core values
- Seek continuous improvement in HSSE practices and standards
- Maintain familiarity with Company's Quality policies and actively participate in compliance
- Prioritize service quality across all business areas
- Maintain effective communications with all key internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrate financial responsibility in all activities- Required: Minimum 3-4+ years operational and coordinator experience
- Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Preferred: Associate's degree
- Strong business skills in Operations and Administration
- Knowledge of Weatherford's service equipment and business operations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Diplomatic skills for dealing with company and customer personnel
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external customers
- This role requires someone who can balance operational efficiency with compliance requirements while maintaining strong relationships across the organization and with customers.
