🎯 Role Summary
We’re seeking a full-time
Operations Administrator
to join our Houston-based team. This individual will play a key role in supporting both the logistical and cultural heartbeat of our office — balancing administrative tasks with hands-on support for internal operations, projects, and client deliverables.
This is the perfect launchpad for someone with hospitality, admin, or event experience who’s excited to grow in both operational and technical skillsets within a fast-paced, high-functioning environment.
You’ll work directly with the Operations & Land Coordinator and provide cross-functional support to our leadership team. The ideal candidate is sharp, detail-oriented, people-focused, and eager to contribute meaningfully from day one.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Operational Support
•Answer and direct incoming calls and emails with professionalism and care
•Coordinate meetings, manage shared calendars, and support occasional travel planning
•Handle document formatting, file organization, and data entry
•Process mail, manage supply orders, and maintain a well-organized office environment
•Support internal documentation, invoice tracking, and routine operational tasks
•Assist with digital file maintenance, research, and data prep for internal teams
•Troubleshoot light office tech issues and support process documentation
•Contribute to the consistency and reliability of internal workflows and project deliverables
Experience & Culture Support
•Assist with internal events, team gatherings, and seasonal initiatives
•Prepare holiday cards, birthdays, and culture-forward moments in partnership with leadership
•Help maintain a welcoming, well-stocked, client-ready office space
•Coordinate light hospitality tasks, including refreshments and meeting room setup
•Uphold the positive, professional tone of the Surprise Valley brand in all interactions

•Warm, intuitive, and people-focused — especially in fast-moving environments
•Detail-oriented and organized with a natural instinct for follow-through
•Comfortable supporting both creative and technical tasks
•Curious, coachable, and eager to learn new systems and tools
•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and file management platforms
•Clear communicator (written and verbal) with excellent interpersonal skills
•Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and high level of discretion
✅ Required Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
•1–3 years of experience in administrative, hospitality, or operations support roles
•Fluent in English (oral and written)
•Ability to work full-time onsite, Monday through Friday
