Assistant, Surveyor

Overview:

This entry-level position reports directly to the Leader, Drafting & Surveying, Design Engineering and will work as a member of a survey crew in the field performing surveys for pipeline route selection, site acquisitions, and pipeline integrity under the leadership and supervision of more experienced team members.

The assistant surveyor is responsible for aiding in the completion of survey activities and deadlines for engineering projects as well as those required by various Company projects related to the development and execution of natural gas facilities. The assistant surveyor will support in providing detailed surveys for bid and construction projects and document the completed construction projects. This position communicates with project team members and third-party contracted resources to aid in the support of land survey activities. The assistant surveyor may be assigned to a structured training program designed to provide interdisciplinary experience. Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include (but not limited to):
