The successful candidate will be the liaison between field operations and accounting to ensure production data is entered and allocated appropriately, documenting production utilization, regulatory requirements, coordinating asset activities, reconciling and validating production data.
- Collaborate with Operations Team and develop a foundational knowledge of the assets and operations to effectively address business needs
- Collaborate with production engineers to optimize oil and gas production processes.
- Implement and monitor data-driven solutions to enhance production efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Obtain, organize, QA/QC, and input data into various computer software applications (P2 Merrick, Cygnet, etc.)
- Maintain and QA/QC production/injection volumes data to be entered into databases.
- Assist in preparing scoping economics for capital projects.
- Assist engineers by providing technical support required to perform detailed field studies of company assets.
- Facilitate implementation of smarter business module processes and data analytics for meaningful insights
- Work closely with production engineers and field staff to achieve production goals.
- Validate and reconcile daily and monthly oil & gas allocated volumes.
- Prepare production reports to be received by marketing, revenue and engineering teams.
- Set up new wells and production changes in production accounting system.
- Prepare and submit regulatory filings related to production data.
- Ensure internal controls are followed and participate in internal and external production audits.
- Assist with the diligence and integration of acquisitions and divestitures as it relates to production data.
1. Bachelor’s degree in related field, or the equivalent of 5-10 years’ experience
3. Ability to work independently and harmoniously within a group
4. Experience working with and leading field level management and support personnel
5. Excellent analytical, decision making, and organizational skills
6. Excellent computer skills are required; specific proficiency in the following applications:
– Required: Strong working knowledge of P2 Merrick, P2 BOLO, Cygnet, Microsoft Excel
– Preferred: IHS & Enverus databases, PHDWin, ComboCurve, Spotfire and Wellview or other daily reporting, well life-cycle, databases.
