Position:

Offshore Crane Mechanic

Main Responsibilities:

- Execute all aspects of offshore crane services in the field.

- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic cranes, including winches, valves, engines, and hydraulic components.

- Implement a preventative maintenance program for offshore cranes.

- Conduct electrical parts changeouts and perform basic electrical troubleshooting.

- Monitor competitive activities and contribute positively to the company’s image and reputation.

- Manage and maintain assigned tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with driving guidelines.

- Identify various crane components and complete all paperwork accurately and promptly.

- Adhere to Sparrows Offshore's Quality Policy and comply with all safety and environmental requirements.

- Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Required Skills:

- Experience: Minimum of 2 years as an offshore crane mechanic.

- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of basic mechanics and hydraulics.

- Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills.

- Familiarity: Knowledge of crane rigging procedures.

- Independence: Ability to perform tasks independently and collaboratively.

- Tools: Must possess personal hand tools.

- Driving Record: A clean driving record is essential.

- Schedule: Must be able to work an adhoc schedule.
