Job Summary
The Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health and safety programs within the organization. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and promotes a culture of safety among employees. Duties
•Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures.
•Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.
•Provide training development for employees on health and safety practices, ensuring they are well-informed about workplace safety protocols.
•Collaborate with management to create strategies that promote workplace safety and reduce incidents.
•Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
•Maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents, and compliance with regulations.
•Fabricate solutions to address specific safety challenges within the organization.
•Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies regarding health and safety matters.
Experience
•A bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred.
•Proven experience in occupational health and safety management or a similar role.
•Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant health and safety standards.
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively train employees at all levels.
•Demonstrated ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings to management.
•Experience in developing training programs tailored to specific workplace needs is highly desirable.
