Nuclear Planning Specialist - Plant Farley

The Nuclear Planning Specialist develops maintenance plans and packages work orders used to support a wide variety of maintenance tasks, including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and plant modifications.

The successful candidate will be adept at standard Microsoft Office Suite computer tools and must be able to quickly learn new programs used for planning and reporting. The Nuclear Planning Specialist will perform planning walkdowns, research maintenance history, and consult drawings, manuals and procedures to develop accurate and detailed work plans. This position requires excellent communication with maintenance craft, management, engineering, operations, and vendors, as well as a commitment to excellent customer service.

Shift work will be required at times, and call-out duties will occur on a rotational basis.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:

High school diploma is required.

Experience:

Four (4) or more years of maintenance experience at a nuclear power plant, related heavy industry, or military equivalent is required.

Maintenance work package planning experience is preferred.

Experience with Maximo is preferred.

Experience with Electronic Work Packages is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Well organized and capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Able to work in any environment demanded of the workforce, including temperature extremes and elevations.

Working knowledge of codes, standards, and technical specifications - preferred.

Working knowledge of plant systems, structures, and components - preferred.

Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).

The successful candidate must meet background screening and NRC Fitness for Duty requirements.
