The Operations Manager will be responsible for the following actions/tasks:
•Responsible to integrate the Company’s Value, Mission, Ethics and Quality Policies into the division’s business plan
•Oversee and have ultimate authority of the division’s business development, general and radiation safety programs, quality programs, profit and loss sheets, human resources, recruitment, hiring, orientating new personnel, training, coaching, and counseling employees
•Maintain a financial budget of the division’s CapEx expenditures to meet Company’s initiatives
•Oversee and authority of time entry, payroll and invoicing of the division
•Manage and host project kickoffs to ensure customer and employee satisfaction
•Responsible to manage the division’s personnel to ensure client satisfaction
•Oversee staffing of the division to obtain maximum productivity, recruitment of qualified technicians, develop the current staff to achieve an advanced level of their career
•Host and complete annual merit reviews to all divisional employees; Able to provide quality assurance in accordance with the Company’s ISO 9001 Quality Management Certification
•Ensure all divisional employees adhere to the safety programs and meeting attendance requirements of safety meetings and required to be the lead instructor on all meetings hosted within the division
•Required to meet incident response and reporting requirements of the Company’s Safety and Quality programs
•Required to meet state and federal general and radiation safety program requirements
•Support the Corporate Radiation Safety Officer to comply with state and federal radiation safety regulations
•Participate and manage the “On Call” weekend duty roster for the division
•Any other assignment deemed necessary per the occupational position.
Required Experience
•Minimum 5 years of experience within the Nondestructive Testing industry
•Experience with leading, teaching and successfully coaching personnel
•Project estimating within the nondestructive testing industry
•Ability to grow a division within the Northeast Region of the U.S.
•Familiar with meeting ISO 9001 Quality Management programs and OSHAs General Industry Safety regulations
Preferred Qualification & Experience
•5 years of experience as a Level II Nondestructive Testing Technician
•Operations Management experience with the Nondestructive Testing Industry
•Track record of divisional growth within the Northeast Region of the U.S.
•Advance educational degree from an accredited university
