The HVAC Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day business operations of Rob’s Air Conditioning across all departments, including service, installation, sales, customer service, and warehouse. This role focuses on optimizing systems, increasing efficiency, driving performance, and ensuring each department delivers a consistent and exceptional customer experience.
The Operations Manager plays a pivotal leadership role, ensuring accountability, process adherence, KPI management, and cross-functional coordination. This is a high-impact position designed to support sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Lead, manage, and hold department heads accountable for daily operational performance.
Ensure seamless workflow between departments including service, install, sales, dispatch, warehouse, and customer service.
Monitor and manage operational KPIs such as job completion rate, revenue per department, cycle times, callback rates, and labor efficiency.
Implement and maintain process improvement strategies using platforms like ServiceTitan or equivalent software.
Drive consistent execution of systems, SOPs, and reporting across all departments.
Manage and resolve interdepartmental issues to improve team collaboration and customer satisfaction.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of key operational staff.
Conduct weekly reporting and work directly with ownership to set goals and execute on strategic objectives.
Proven ability to lead teams and manage operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
High-level communication and leadership presence, with the ability to influence and inspire across departments.
Proficiency with field service software, CRM systems, and operational reporting (ServiceTitan preferred).
Deep understanding of workflow optimization, project management, and KPI-driven decision making.
Ability to implement systems that align people, process, and performance.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
5–7 years of progressive leadership experience, ideally in the HVAC, home services, or construction industry.
3+ years in an operations or general management role with team oversight.
Experience with P&L responsibility, process documentation, and KPI tracking required.
ServiceTitan or similar field service management software experience is highly preferred.
Must be able to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.
Must be able to move around the office and occasionally visit field job sites or warehouses.
Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs may be required.
Able to drive to multiple locations for leadership and field audits.
$85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications, plus performance-based bonuses.
