New-Grad (EIT) or Intern Student Engineer (Mech., Chem., Petroleum, Electrical, Civil (structural)

We are currently looking for New Grad or Intern Engineers (Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, Electrical or Civil (Structural)) to join our team at our head office in Grande Prairie, AB.

Aztec has branch offices in Edmonton, Calgary, Lacombe, Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. We onboard & train our junior staff in Grande Prairie, where we have the most technical resources & training capacity, but after some time there could be an opportunity to be transferred to one of those branch offices.

As a New-Grad or Intern Engineer your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Engineering Design Packages

- Equipment procurement

- Facility / Process Design

- Project Cost Estimating

- Project Scheduling

- Project Management

- Regulatory Approvals

- A strong commitment to working safely and protecting the safety of others

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

- Enrolled in or completed any of Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, Electrical Engineering or similar programs.

- Registered as an E.I.T. if graduated

- Any relevant engineering experience is an asset

- Operations field experience is an asset

- Be highly analytical and the ability to establish strong internal and external relationships

- Be energetic, resilient, collaborative and goal oriented

- Any relevant experience in the upstream or midstream oil and gas industry

- Experience leading client meetings

Pay: $26.00-$40.00 per hour
