POSITION SUMMARY:
Monitoring Specialist Supervisor will be responsible for managing the daily creation of all system monitoring portals, monitoring site quality, system alerts, service call creation and closure for all systems Installed by Freedom Forever. The Monitoring Specialist Supervisor will work closely with the Monitoring Manager, acting as a key team member to resolve escalated projects as well as directly oversee the Monitoring Specialist Team.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage daily work activities of the Monitoring Specialist Team Members with a focus on individual coaching for problem solving, project planning and team development execution of stated goals and objectives
- Oversee daily tasks for a team that ensures proper system functionality for the contract lifetime of all Freedom Forever systems.
- Pull daily and weekly reports on team’s activity throughput to ensure the team is hitting KPIs. Provide feedback to leads on stalled projects, areas of improvement, and areas of excellence.
- Provide advice and recommendations to Monitoring Manager regarding common Monitoring Specialist issues and work with Monitoring Manager to develop suitable solutions to improve efficiency.
- Assist Lead Monitoring Specialists with corrections, and provide solution-oriented support through the exercise of discretion and independent judgement
- Works with Monitoring Manager on best practices and process improvement
- Conducting research to ensure the team is meeting all deadlines.
- Responsible for the output of the Monitoring Specialist Team
- Ensure client and project communication and customer satisfaction
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Certifications:
- 2+ years working with related activities in solar
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to see the big picture, anticipate problems and how they will affect the project team, and proactively address these issues
- Familiarity with utility net metering, interconnection, and PV requirements.
- Strong ability to use search engines to locate PV terminology to assure proper system production
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings
- Ability to build and maintain a good relationship with internal departments
- Ability to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines
- Strong competence in written and verbal communications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Lightspeed and other common office software
