The Supervisor of Measurement is responsible for leading a team that is accountable for developing and implementing a customer-orientated, data-driven approach to measurement. This role will also collaborate with business partners to ensure effective and efficient process alignment. The ability to work with others is a key to success.

A Day in the Life:

This role will give you the opportunity to collaborate with internal partners to develop and implement operational strategies. Your focus will be to continually innovate and improve performance of the Measurement department.

Responsibilities/Expectations:

- Leads analysis team through continuous improvement of measurement processes, and development and execution of common SOX controls

- Provides measurement process support through development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the One Williams Measurement process in collaboration with other areas best practices

- Coordinates workforce planning and career development for employees

- Holds team accountable for performing all work in accordance with requirements and standards

- Understands the technical issues, operational practices and measurement systems/tools common to the oil & gas industry

- Establishes and maintains positive relationships with employees, peers, and internal/external customers

- Collaborating with internal partners and leadership to develop opportunities for processes and performance improvements

- Collaborating with others to improve enterprise-wide knowledge of the measurement function and value

- Holding team accountable for performing all work in accordance with company, local, state, and federal requirements/standards

- Other duties as assigned

Education/Years of Experience:

- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or a technical field; a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in measurement or quality management

- Preferred: Master’s Degree; a minimum of six (6) years’ experience in measurement or quality management

- Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certifications

Other Requirements:

- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority

- Demonstrates strong negotiation skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills

- Preferred: Previous experience working in or supporting operations and requiring a high degree of collaboration

- Preferred: Experience with SCADA systems and/or understanding of polling historical measurement data
