MIG Welder/Fabricator/Assembler

MIG Welding and Assembling large frames.

- Ability to fit and weld (GMAW) large frames from a provided blueprint

- Strong blueprint reading skills is a must

- Ability to read a tape measure, scale, and combination square

- Ability to lay out components based off blueprint, tack pieces effectively, weld to specifications on print

- Must be experienced with heavy MIG welding, heat inputs, warping

- Prepare material by locating correct pieces, cleaning/grinding parts, verifying proper fit

- Finish weldments by scraping/grinding - must remove all spatter and sharp edges

- Familiarity with weld symbols

- Must be able to work with a wide range of material thicknesses (steel .250" - 1.5")

- Must have familiarity with overhead cranes and forklifts

- Must possess teamwork skills

- Must be able to lift 50lbs
