To support the Hayden Operations in safely unloading acid for storage and delivery to other customers and the Silverbell Mine for their leaching operations. Upon successful completion of training, the candidate will be able to solely perform acid unloading activities at the Hayden acid unloading facility.
- Safely Unload Acid Tankers as required to maintain storage inventory
- Facilitate and help acid loading by truckers going to Silverbell and other customers
- Be able to perform acid inventory for the Hayden Site
- Adhere to safety protocol with respect to working with railroad crews.
- Adhere to safety protocol with respect to working with acid.
- Must be willing to take on duties to help with Hayden Care and Maintenance.
- Must be able to work alone in a precise, repeatable, safe fashion, and yet communicate excellently with operations, Supervision, Traffic, and the Railroad
- Must dependably work an Evening/Night shift schedule, typically 4 days on/ 4 days off
- Must be able to take multiple directives and follow instructions with precision
- Must have MS Office computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Must be able to manage time effectively and set priorities
- Requires the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- The job requires training or instruction in Environmental Awareness.
- This job requires training or instruction in Safety & Health awareness including completion of the appropriate OSHA/MSHA training.
- The job requires Department of Transportation, Basic Hazardous Waste Transportation training.
- Must have High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- One year of work-related experience in Acid Loading/Unloading
