Perform various fabrication tasks in an industrial setting. Primary duties include utilizing our shop equipment to cut, bend, grind, punch and/or drill a range of materials as needed. Duties also include supporting preparation of material for the welding team.
We are a job shop and we complete many different types of projects on a daily basis. The duties of this position will likely change from day to day depending on which part of the shop needs assistance.
· Use our shop equipment to fabricate components as needed.
· Specific on the job training is provided for each machine.
· Work with another team member to fabricate larger or heavier items as needed. Must be able to work with heavier material at times. (At least 50 lbs)
· Clean up and sort scrap as needed.
· Must be able to work as a team in an outdoor and open air shop setting.
· Safety equipment and tools are provided for your use.
· NOTE: Employee is responsible for their own steel toe boots, proper work attire and tape measure.
· We offer accrued PTO and paid holidays.
· Hourly wage is based on previous experience and reference feedback. Any fabrication or welding experience is a plus.
· The company will pay for the employees’ health, vision and dental insurance after a 3 month probation period. We also offer a retirement program and match up to a 3% contribution.
Monday – Thursday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm with a 30 minute lunch.
Friday - 7:30 am to 11:30 am with a 30 minute lunch
