Key Responsibilities:
•Oversee the implementation and management of MES solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives set by Production, IT and Leadership.
•Collaborate with internal and third-party MES teams to support all systems and staff in both office and production environments.
•Develop and implement MES strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and production performance.
•Monitor and manage MES infrastructure, including software, hardware, and network components, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
•Lead and mentor the MES team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
•Coordinate with third-party MSPs and vendors to manage external MES services and resolve issues.
•Ensure compliance with MES policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
•Oversee the deployment and configuration of new MES software and hardware, ensuring compatibility and adherence to company standards.
•Manage MES projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring to achieve project goals.
•Provide technical support and training to staff, enhancing their MES skills and knowledge.
•Prepare and manage the MES budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
•Stay updated on industry trends and advancements, recommending improvements and innovations to enhance MES operations.
•Follow IT Policy and procedures and maintain KSOX audit compliance. Support internal and external audits related to IT application controls and IT general controls by providing reports and supporting documentation.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent job experience.
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in MES management or a similar role.
•Strong knowledge of MES infrastructure, systems, and business applications integration.
•Proven experience in developing and implementing MES strategies and policies.
•Excellent leadership and team management skills.
•Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
•Experience working with third-party MSPs and managing external MES services.
•Proficiency in MES software and common business applications.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
•Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•Certifications such as MES-related certifications, CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are a plus.
