Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Mechanical Designer/Engineer? to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing mechanical systems for high-temperature industrial applications, including furnaces, kilns, and combustion systems.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a multi-disciplinary environment, enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, and communicates clearly and professionally—both with clients and team members.
Responsibilities
•Design and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD software.
•Create detailed schematics and drafts for manufacturing processes.
•Collaborate with engineers to integrate logic controllers into designs.
•Conduct system design analysis to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
•Utilize Creo for 3D modeling and simulations of mechanical designs.
•Assist in the fabrication process by providing technical guidance and support.
•Participate in project meetings to discuss design progress and challenges.
What We're Looking For
•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics or a related discipline.
•7+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design, ideally for industrial or thermal systems
•Proficient in 3D CAD design (SolidWorks or AutoCAD Mechanical)
•Strong understanding of thermal systems, materials, fabrication techniques, and engineering standards
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in professional-level English
•Naturally detail-oriented with a high standard of accuracy and quality
•Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team
•P.Eng designation or eligibility is an asset
•Willingness to travel to client sites for field work and commissioning
