Are you an experienced and versatile heavy-duty mechanic looking for a dynamic work environment? Join our team as a Mobile Heavy Equipment Technician!

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on heavy-duty mining equipment, mostly mining surface machinery.

- Switch seamlessly between shop and field tasks, adapting to operational needs.

- Work in open-pit shops, depending on site requirements.

- Detect and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

- Read mechanical plans and execute preventive maintenance schedules.

- Install and replace mechanical components as required.

- Maintain high standards of safety compliance and quality assurance.

Conditions:

- Permanent, full-time position;

- Work schedule of 14 working days, followed by 14 days off, alternating day and night;

- Hourly salary between 40.04$ to 51.54$;

- Rate and a half for hours worked over 40 hours per week, for work performed on Saturday and Sunday as well as on statutory holidays;

- Fly-in / Fly-out work dynamic: Workers can take the plane at Mirabel airport or at Val-d'Or airport;

- Transportation allowance packages depending on the distance between your home and the departure airport;

- Accommodation provided as well as food;

- 4 hours at regular paid at the entrance and exit of the mine site;

- Tools and work equipment supplied on the mine site;

- Group insurance and pension plan;

- Work clothing allowance!

What We’re Looking For:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a heavy-duty mechanic.

- Experience in mining operations, open pit preferred.

- Red Seal certification (Heavy Duty Equipment Technician) is an asset.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Comfortable working both day and night shifts as per rotation schedules.

- Willingness to travel between sites as required.
