1) Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
2) Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
3) Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
4) Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity, placing materials in stock.
5) Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
6) Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
7) Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.
8) Empties trash and scrap hoppers throughout facility.
9) Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
10) Assist in various production tasks such as Ring Line, Rack Building, etc.…
11) Some heavy lifting can be expected. Good manual dexterity required to drive forklift.
12)The ability to remain seated on forklift for an extended period of time as well as the ability to move about the facilities to perform work, is required.
13) Ability to communicate orally with management and production staff is crucial. Hearing and vision correctable to within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, receiving ordinary information, and preparing or inspecting documents.
