Job Position:
Material Handler
Responsibilities
•Load, unload, and distribute materials, tools, and equipment to designated project locations.
•Maintain accurate inventory of electrical materials using tracking software and manual logs.
•Operate forklifts, skid steers, knuckle booms, scissor lifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely and efficiently as needed.
•Assist electricians and jobsite personnel with material deliveries and organization.
•Ensure work areas, storage areas, and loading zones remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
•Prepare materials for shipment and/or return, including packing, labeling, and documentation.
•Support site set-up and tear-down, including unloading and staging large or bulky electrical components.
•Inspect and maintain assigned equipment to ensure operational safety and compliance with regulations.
•Follow all company policies, OSHA regulations, and jobsite-specific safety requirements.
Qualifications

•Previous experience in construction, carpentry, manufacturing, or similar setting (preferred).
•Familiar with use of hand and power tools (preferred).
Physical Requirements
•Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, and sit for long periods of time
•Must be capable of working in inclement conditions to include extreme hot and cold temperatures.
•Must be physically capable of manually digging & back-filling holes and trenches.
•Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs.
