POSITION OVERVIEW – Material Handler – Tool Crib Attendant
In this role you will be working in our client's business manufacturing plant and maintaining accurate records of tools and equipment, tracking their distribution to employees, and performing regular inventory counts.
- Maintain accurate records of tools and equipment, track their distribution to employees, and perform regular inventory counts.
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming tools and supplies, and issue tools to personnel upon request, keeping track of usage
- Keep the tool crib clean, organized, and secure, and efficiently store various items.
- Ordering and stock management: Monitor stock levels, initiate reorder requests for replacements, and dispose of obsolete equipment.
- Work with shop personnel, supervisors to understand tooling needs and support production goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with inventory tracking software.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and tools is often necessary.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50LB and move tools.
