Material Handler - 1st Shift

Must enjoy working outside and have nerves of "steel".

1st Shift = 5:00 am to 4:00 pm

Position Summary:

It's a physical job! If you have never worked in a warehouse environment before, you should understand that you will be on your feet for 90% - 95% of your shift. It also gets loud and the facility is large. While we want everyone to feel comfortable, our ability to control the temperature in our warehouse is limited. Warehouse working conditions are impacted by seasons and the weather.

Here is a list of some of the more frequent tasks you could expect to perform during the course of the workday:

- Load and unload large steel products with overhead crane.

- Be able to read pull lists.

- Must not be afraid to climb stacks of steel or fit into small spaces while following all safety protocols.

Candidate Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

2. Overhead crane experience a must.

The Armada Group offers a generous compensation and benefit package (after 60 days), as well as 401K (after one year).
