Mass Earthwork Superintendent

We specialize in large-scale earthwork, pipeline construction, landfill development, and civil infrastructure projects.

Our projects are driven by production, efficiency, and advanced GPS machine control systems. We are seeking a high-level superintendent who can lead from the front and maximize performance in the field.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced Mass Earthwork Superintendent with strong expertise in Trimble and Topcon GPS machine control systems. This individual will oversee large-scale earthmoving operations and be responsible for production, safety, and field execution.

This is a leadership role requiring hands-on involvement, technical knowledge, and the ability to drive results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Lead and manage field operations for mass grading and civil construction projects

· Supervise crews, foremen, and subcontractors to meet production goals

· Implement and optimize GPS machine control systems (Trimble & Topcon)

· Load, troubleshoot, and manage digital terrain models (DTMs)

· Coordinate with surveyors, project managers, and estimating teams

· Track production, control costs, and maintain schedules

· Ensure compliance with all safety standards and company policies

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· 8+ years of experience in heavy civil construction or mass earthwork

· Strong working knowledge of Trimble Earthworks, Topcon, and GPS grade control systems

· Proven ability to manage high-production earthmoving operations

· Ability to read and interpret plans, models, and survey data

· Strong leadership and communication skills

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

· Pipeline construction, landfill development, or large-scale site work

· Experience with drone mapping and machine data systems

· Background in oil & gas or infrastructure projects

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

· Competitive base salary: $120,000 – $160,000+ (DOE)

Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
