Hadron Energy is commercializing a new class of micro modular reactors (MMRs) to power the future of industry, data centers, and national infrastructure. Our 10 MWe light water reactor is designed for factory fabrication, safe deployment, and zero-carbon, always-on electricity. We are growing fast—with engineering in the Bay Area and strategic operations in New York City—and we are looking for a dynamic Marketing & Communications Operations Manager to help scale our voice, impact, and outreach.
Role Overview
This role sits at the intersection of marketing, communications, and operations. You will be responsible for executing high-impact email campaigns, managing and improving our newsletter, and reducing internal communication overhead—so our engineers can focus on building the microreactor. You’ll ensure stakeholders (investors, partners, media, policymakers) receive timely, well-crafted, and high-signal communications from Hadron Energy.
Key Responsibilities
•Marketing Campaign Execution
•Coordinate with BD and leadership to maintain contact lists
•Monitor campaign metrics test subject lines and CTAs, and continuously improve performance
•Work with CEO, engineering, and regulatory teams to extract key updates and translate into public-facing communications
•Serve as a communications buffer and interpreter for the engineering team—filtering, responding to, or redirecting inbound requests
•Draft technical or regulatory content into simplified, outreach-ready formats when needed
•Brand & Messaging Alignment
•Ensure all outbound communication is consistent with Hadron’s brand, tone, and strategic messaging
•Collaborate on content for investor decks, press releases, LinkedIn posts, or conference outreach
Qualifications
•3–6 years experience in marketing, communications, or operations—preferably in a startup, energy, or deep-tech environment
•Proven track record managing high-volume outbound email campaigns or newsletters
•Excellent written communication skills with the ability to distill complex topics into clear, compelling messages
•Experience using tools like HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar
•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
•Bonus: background in energy, engineering, or science communication
•Bonus: familiarity with investor or policy audiences
