The Marketing Manager will be responsible for product management and the development and creation of content for messaging and training. Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following items:
· Product management including addition and subtraction of skus and products and managing the Management of Change process at the company.
· Label and package design, utilizing outside resources where necessary
· Track and report on industry specific intel to recommend new products and package sizes required
· Work with pricing, back-office admin, purchasing/inventory and sales to regularly update costing and pricing to drive value and meet company financial objectives
· Ensure on-time delivery of error-free content for all advertising or marketing campaigns (email marketing, direct mailers, video content etc.)
· Work with the agency of record and/or other media partners to develop and execute an annual advertising plan that aligns with company goals.
· Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
· Regularly update and revise branding materials such as flyers, brochures, sales slicks, presentation templates, and other customer-facing collateral to reflect current messaging, products, and visual identity.
· Regularly update and revise product training materials
· Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure all marketing materials are aligned with brand guidelines and business objectives.
· Set up and optimize company web pages and social media pages for SupplyPro, incorporating SEO best practices to improve search visibility. Ensure timely content publication at the company’s expected frequency.
· Manage and coordinate trade show participation, including logistics, booth setup, and promotional materials. Analyze post-show data and ROI to determine the effectiveness and future value of each event.
· Assist in developing and executing our annual marketing strategy for the company.
· Generate, edit, publish, and share content (original text, images, video, or HTML) to build meaningful connections and support the company’s brand promise.
· Maintain and keep current the brand standard book for SupplyPro. Ensure consistent branding that aligns with the brand standard book for all content.
· Work to continuously improve areas of responsibilities by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and acting on the information.
· Serve as a project manager for employee-facing marketing projects.
· As needed, work directly with other groups to support specific division marketing activities.
· Assist in organizing and executing company events and events sponsored or supported by SupplyPro.
· Track and report on industry specific intel to assist Sales team with relationships and closing business.
· Assist with all Lead generation activities, both internally and externally.
· Assist with CRM management and establishing/tracking Sales and Marketing KPI’s.
· BS/BA Degree in Marketing, Media, Business, Journalism, or related field.
· 2+ years’ experience in overall marketing, development and execution of content strategy, including development of copy, photography, video, rich media, landing pages, etc.
· 2+ years’ experience in social media and content management.
· Excellent computer skills inclusive of Microsoft Office and digital data programs.
· Experience working with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, IT).
· Strong business acumen with the ability to learn, understand and converse around key business issues.
· Demonstrated integrity and a creative approach to challenges.
· Ability to operate independently given direction and bring ideas and solutions to issues raised.
· Strong project planning & managing, tracking, and organizing skills.
· Demonstrated ability to coordinate and deliver multiple activities and assignments simultaneously.
