We are currently seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join our Red Deer team on a 12–18-month maternity leave term. Start date February 18, 2026. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves balancing creativity with strategy. Core responsibilities include content creation, digital marketing support, and coordinating internal and external communication initiatives.

In this role, you will also be responsible for:

- Creating and scheduling content across LinkedIn, website, newsletters, and internal channels

- Supporting and executing marketing campaigns, SEO efforts, and analytics reporting

- Managing brand standards and formatting/editing key documents (RFPs, quotes, presentations)

- Coordinating events, sponsorships, and promotional product orders

- Supporting customer relations and company-wide communication initiatives

Qualifications and Skills

Required

- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field

- 2+ years of relevant experience in a coordinator or administrator role

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Proficiency with social platforms, email marketing tools, and website/CMS management

- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects

- Creative mindset with high attention to detail

- Proficient in MS Office Suite

Preferred

- Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite

- Basic video/photo editing skills

- Experience with HubSpot (SuperAdmin level an asset)

- Background in energy, industrial, or B2B industries
