The Marketing and Sales Support Associate plays an important role in supporting Poyant’s marketing and sales efforts. This entry-level position focuses on creating LinkedIn content for our sales executives while managing and tracking new leads to ensure they move seamlessly through the sales process.
As the initial point of contact for all incoming leads, the Marketing and Sales Support Associate plays a key role in creating a positive first impression with potential customers. Leads will come in by phone, email, and web, and this position is responsible for capturing and passing on critical information to the account executives, so opportunities are handled quickly and effectively.
This is a collaborative role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. The Marketing Associate will work closely with sales executives, leadership, and internal teams to strengthen Poyant’s brand presence and support business development efforts.
- Create and schedule LinkedIn content for sales executives, ensuring brand consistency and professionalism.
- Track, organize, and manage new sales leads using CRM tools and internal systems.
- Serve as the first point of contact for incoming leads received via phone, email, and web.
- Capture, document, and pass on critical information from customers to account executives to support accurate and timely follow-up.
- Maintain an organized calendar of posts and deadlines.
- Assist in the development of broader marketing initiatives, campaigns, and events as needed.
- Research best practices and social media trends to recommend new approaches for engagement.
- Support the marketing team with additional administrative and creative tasks as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Comfortable collaborating with different teams and adjusting content for various audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
