SSVEC is a not-for-profit, member owned distribution cooperative providing electricity to more than 51,000 services over some 4,100 miles of energized line. Located in southeastern Arizona. SSVEC is seeking a highly organized candidate to fill the Marketing and Communications Administrative Assistant role.

The Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and marketing support to the Marketing and Communications Department (MCD). This position will support member engagement through Member Service Representative referrals and MCD programs.

The essential functions listed below are general examples and not a complete description of comprehensive duties.

•

Provide administrative, marketing, and desktop publishing support to MCD, including assistance with event promotions and departmental publications.

•

Research and compile marketing statistics; create, maintain, and update data repositories and reporting databases using Access and Excel.

•

Assist with managing digital and physical filing systems, internal and regulatory reports, outgoing communications, and bulk mailings.

•

Provide administrative and logistical support for youth-focused initiatives and community outreach activities.

•

Supervise and mentor student intern

•

Arrange staff travel, including booking and managing itineraries; process related reimbursements and compliance documentation.

Qualifications:

•

Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma and three years of related experience and/or training, or an Associate's Degree plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

•

Must be eligible for Arizona Notary Public certification.

•

Proficient at database management, spreadsheets, and computer applications, including Microsoft Office.

•

Must possess skills in graphic design for brochures, flyers, and other publications

•

Strong communication skills with ability to coordinate across teams.

•

Arizona Driver's License.
