To join our team as a Market Outreach Specialist. As a Market Outreach specialist you identify and contact social housing providers (SHP's) and Community Distribution Partners (CDP's) to make them aware of the jointly delivered Energy Affordability Program and Home Winterproofing Program.
Please note – this is a maternity leave replacement term.

- Engage social housing providers (SHPs) and community distribution partners (CDPs) to promote the Energy Affordability and Home Winterproofing programs.
- Educate and secure partner buy-in by providing clear program information and guidance.
- Coordinate with community organizations to plan outreach activities and awareness events.
- Maintain partner engagement through structured follow-up and conversion strategies.
- Execute multi-channel outreach, including email campaigns, calls, in-person visits, and events.
- Support partners through program stages by coordinating logistics and internal teams.
- Plan and attend community events, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Conduct market research to track uptake, identify key stakeholders, and surface opportunities.
- Identify barriers, share insights with the Market Outreach Manager, and support continuous improvement.- 2+ year of experience in outreach, sales, business development, or account management.
- Experience with energy efficiency or utility programs is a strong asset.
- Post‑secondary education preferred.
- Strong passion for outreach, community engagement, and learning about the energy conservation industry.
- Proven ability to clearly communicate complex program information to diverse audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience presenting value propositions and addressing barriers to participation.
- Valid G‑class driver’s license, clean driving record, and access to reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel within the province as required.
Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
