Manufacturing Support Specialist

COMPANY BACKGROUND:

POSITION SUMMARY:

- Review drawings, materials, and work packages to make sure all items are available.

- Set up work areas (tools and materials) to ensure a smooth transition between jobs.

- Desire to be a key player in a flexible and dynamic environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Review and analyze the provided job packet and blueprints to set up workstations.

- Set up materials and supplies as required for the finished product, including reviewing the parts kit according to blueprints and Bill of Materials.

- Ensure the appropriate tools are available and working correctly.

- Troubleshoot issues (parts, technical, etc.) and work with the team to resolve.

- Quality check assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering requirements.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Requires technical degree or an equivalent degree in a related area.

- Requires 5+ years of relevant work experience working in a manufacturing environment as a lead and/or technical support role.

- Technical competence with an ability to read engineering drawings and utilize basic electric/pneumatic fabrication equipment and tools.

- Ability to generate, modify, and interpret work instructions to support training others.

- Experienced in ERP and manufacturing software systems with an understanding of processes and transactions required to support production.

- Have a continuous improvement mindset with focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

- High proficiency in the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

- Familiarity with aluminum fabrication is a plus (forming, welding, painting, assembly).

- Attention to detail.

- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. of product repetitively.

- Must be U.S. person or citizen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
