Manufacturing Specialist

COMPANY BACKGROUND:

POSITION SUMMARY:

- To assemble finished product using sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners according to customer specification, drawings and company policies.

- To perform spot welding using resistance welders/machines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Use hand and power tools.

- Sets up and operated machines such as drill press, grinders, riveters.

- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and sub-assemblies, per customer specifications / blueprints.

- Checks assembled products, comparing each to customer requirements, blueprints and BOM and Router instructions.

- Spot weld materials according to blue prints using adhesives and templates.

- Resolves assembly problems and/or reports to Supervisor for assistance.

- Maintains clean and safe working environment in line with company policies.

- Support production schedule by safely performing work efficiently.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Requires technical degree or an equivalent degree in a related area.

- 5-7 years of experience in the field or in related area.

- Experience in intricate hand assembly.

- Attention to detail.

- Ability to read blue prints.

- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. of product repetitively.

- Must be U.S. person or citizen.
