Develops, evaluates, and improves industrial manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.

Key Accountabilities

- Apply Lean principles to improve manufacturing efficiency and drive continuous improvement.

- Design layouts for equipment and workspace to optimize flow and space utilization.

- Estimate production times, staffing needs, and costs for management planning.

- Communicate production schedules and capabilities to support operations.

- Collaborate with vendors on product specifications, equipment, and material purchases.

- Lead technical upgrades, equipment installations, and tooling implementation.

- Participate in contract reviews for major projects.

- Evaluate products against specifications and quality standards.

- Conduct health and safety reviews for new or modified equipment.

- Travel as needed for business purposes.

- Demonstrate and uphold TKMNA Employee Attributes and Competencies.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

- 5+ years in a Lean Manufacturing environment

- Technical expertise in sheet metal fabrication

- Experience with repetitive and build-to-suit manufacturing

- Proven success managing large, complex projects

- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

- Analytical and solution-oriented mindset

Preferred:

- Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering

- Salary Range: Pending (will be competitive and aligned with experience)

- Work Environment: 100% onsite at our South Bend, IN facility

Job Compensation

$95K - 125K + Annual Bonus Incentive
