At Silverwell, we design and manufacture highly engineered DIAL (Digital Intelligent Artificial Lift) tools for production optimization system integrating in-well monitoring and control of gas lift well performance, for the oil and gas industry.
We are seeking a Manufacturing/Production Scheduler
to coordinate and plan the complex production activities across welding, machining, vendors, electromechanical assembly and testing.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and driven to improve efficiency while ensuring on-time delivery of projects in a fast-paced, precision-focused environment.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed production schedules across all manufacturing operations - from external suppliers to internal processes.
- Sequence and manage complex production steps including machining, welding, electrical/electronic assembly, mechanical assembly, system integration, inspection, testing, and shipment.
- Balance multiple production orders with varying deadlines and configurations, considering lead times, capacity, constraints, and material availability.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to validate process flows, operation times, and inspection needs.
- Monitor production status and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts and delays.
- Analyze capacity and propose strategies to maximize throughput and reduce downtime.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by streamlining scheduling and planning activities.
- Maintain ERP/MRP systems (EPICOR preferred) with accurate work orders, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Provide reliable lead time estimates and support project management for customer commitments.- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing scheduling or production planning, ideally in Oil & Gas, Aerospace, Medical Devices, or other high-tech manufacturing industries.
- Experience in electromechanical assembly environments and knowledge of machining, welding, and electronic integration.
- Experience in Lean manufacturing implementation, Kaizen, or similar methodologies.
- Strong grasp on manufacturing workflows, routings, and inspection requirements.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (EPICOR is preferred) and MS Excel.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and routings.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities across cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Experience with Oil & Gas tools, downhole components, or industrial actuated systems is preferred.
- APICS or PMP certification is a plus.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience will also be considered.
