We are seeking an experienced, hands-on manufacturing maintenance Technician for our manufacturing facility. Applicants must possess first-hand experience with fabrication/manufacturing equipment and their associated functions such as punch and brake presses, laser cutting equipment, welding equipment, material handling devices and equipment, power tools, etc. Experience in a “just in time” manufacturing environment and credentials confirming such is absolutely required.
-Activating and deactivating building alarms and responding to alarm calls along with any other emergencies after and during regular work hours.
-Mastery of hand and power tools. Machining or tool room experience.
-Electrical and electronic skills are necessary. Must be able to read schematics.
-Equipment installation skills, rigging, moving techniques. Provide installation of various power sources, electrical, hydraulic, Pneumatic, Computer networking, etc.
-Oversee outsourced vendor activity, ensuring Sourcing policies and procedures are followed, and that the work is performed properly
-Perform special projects as assigned. Engage in renovations and upgrades.
-Enforce Company and OSHA safety programs.
-Familiarity with maintaining manufacturing initiatives such as “5S”
-Maintain a Preventative Maintenance program consistent with ISO 9001 practices.
