As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who will help drive meaningful improvements to our manufacturing processes, equipment, and overall plant performance.
The Manufacturing Engineer plays a key role in optimizing manufacturing operations through engineering solutions, process redesign, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on role that involves working closely with production, maintenance, and leadership teams to identify opportunities, implement improvements, and ensure efficient, safe, and reliable operations.
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for efficiency, quality, safety, and cost improvements.
- Design and implement mechanical solutions and process modifications to optimize production.
- Assists the Engineering Manager with research and development, prepare and conduct studies, tests and collect data, calculate results and provide reports and updates on findings
- Lead and support capital improvement projects, including equipment upgrades, layouts, and process changes.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues and implement sustainable solutions.
- Work closely with the production team and provide day-to-day expertise/technical support to production with a focus on safety, reliability and cost reduction
- Monitor system / equipment condition and performance; troubleshoot problems that arise in the operations
- Conduct time studies, root cause analyses, and risk assessments to support decision-making.
- Evaluate new equipment, technologies, and methods to support process reliability and throughput.
- Support installation, commissioning, testing, and training for new equipment and processes.
- Provide process documentation and operating instructions.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and applicable codes.
- Track progress and report on key process improvement metrics.

- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; having a P. Eng designation.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with a focus on process improvement or plant engineering.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.
- Proven ability to manage engineering projects from concept to implementation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Comfortable working on the plant floor and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Exposure to automation, robotics, or material handling systems.
- Experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with sheet metal manufacturing or HVAC-related processes an asset
