This role reports direct to the Sr Operations Leader and is responsible for supporting business growth initiatives, focus on owning and driving OEE Improvement and Capacity Increase initiatives in key Manufacturing Processes such Rubber and Plastic Molding, Epoxy Mixing and Casting, and others. This role will also own key deliverables in executing of Manufacturing Improvement programs including support of TOW, safety improvements, Lean, and overall manufacturing cost improvements.
- Partner with EHS team to identify and improve processes and equipment to reduce risk of injuries.
- Define and implement training and certification program for key manufacturing process (Rubber and Plastic Molding, Epoxy Casting, and others)
- Define and control production process including tooling and equipment. Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment.
- - Specify and procure new equipment and tooling needed to meet production, quality and growth requirements.
- Develop and implement VCP projects and be accountable for successful completion.
- Support NPI and TOW projects, and related equipment.
- Team with production to identify processes or equipment that can be automated or otherwise improved to leverage productivity.
- Utilize Six Sigma/Lean tools and techniques to drive innovations and improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or High School diploma or equivalent with 5 additional years of manufacturing experience)
- 5 years of Engineering improvement experience.
- Green Belt Certified
- OMLP Graduate
- Bi-lingual (Spanish and English)
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills are a must
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Ability to build relationships within the company at all levels and with customers and suppliers.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $90,400.00 and $150,500.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
