The Manufacturing CNC Mill performs both routine and non-routine, moderately complex CNC functions following appropriate procedures for timely and accurate production.
- Primary duty is to set-up and operate CNC Mill to machine parts to customer requirements.
- Must be able to work in a high-volume environment.
- Must be able to read basic blueprints and perform basic job shop mathematical calculations.
- Familiar with CNC operation and possess a basic understanding of set-ups, tooling, and programming concepts, as well as feeds and speeds.
- Must be able to follow written instructions and to work with little supervision.
- Basic understanding of true position tolerance and Cartesian coordinate systems.
- Cleanliness of the work area and proper handling of tools, equipment, and stock to prevent damage or loss.

- Minimum 3 years CNC job shop experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Requires frequent bending, reaching and lifting of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
